Same here. I figure there's about 2-3k left in my 402 rear but I just ordered a set of Elite III's to have on hand when the time comes. Should be only a month or so now that the weather is warming up here in Michigan!

Just got back from a 2,500 mile tour to Poland from the UK on my 150/80 MU Avon Venom. A 150 is the widest tyre you can fit to a 3" rim and it goes in with room to spare. Could probably get a 160 in, but as already stated that really needs a wider rim wheel.

It is not necessary to ride Avons until the chords show!

I'm fixing to order new E3's front and back from JW. Nobody mentions bias/radials that I can find. I have the stock alum wagon wheels on my 07 EGC. Should I go bias or radials? I've ran the E3 radials on a hon**..in the past and was very happy with the performance/life of the tires. Thanks ahead for clarifying for this 'ol country boy ahead of time, if you will. I'm hoping for responses from riders other than a phone pick'r-up'r at the company trying to sell a tire.

Bias is what you are after.

Most of my riding is 2-up. I put the E3 on the back of my '07 Standard....made a 900 mile ride about 2 wks later....now have about 1600 on it. Cant complain at all..didnt notice any 'wiggle' that I used to feel on grooved pavement. Hasn't rained much around here lately, so the verdict is still out on 'wet pavement'. Im still running the stock Dunlop on front.

Wanting new wheels in the next year, so will order front and back E3s when that comes about.

Thinkin' you'll like em.

New shoes (E3's) will arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to put them on the scoot. All that's left after that, before the trip to TX, is loading her up. Really looking forward to the time on the rode with my brother and sister-in-law.

New E3 are now on and just returned from a 100 mile jaunt. First, thank you to all that recommended these new shoes!!! They are AMAZING!!!

Smooth ride, no worries about tar snakes/road imperfections these tires just slid right over them. The cornering is effortless. Feels like a totally different scoot. I'm going to really enjoy the trip to Houston next week.

Again, thanks to all who provided input. I highly recommend this rubber to anyone looking to replace theirs.

Happy Memorial Day. Thank you to all that served and thank you to all the families that have endured the hardship of loosing a loved one so that we may be free.
