I just bought one from gps city for $869. I figure with the rebate it brings it to 769 which is tolerable for a blue tooth device, an mp3 player, xm player an wx display. I like it. out of the box it worked in the car. after a couple of days i mounted it on the Harley using the motorcycle mount. I hard wired it to the battery and all works fine. I particularly like the mp3 player function. I just plug it into the aux and i'm good to go.
easy to use with gloves and the display is pretty viewable during the day and at night i had to turn it way down. its not a bad investment for the money.

Interesting. Garmin has the Zumo 550 listed at $899 each. Ouch, that is $100 more than this time last year. On the link below, Amazon.com has a Zumo 550 listed for $602, $297 less than Garmin. Looks like the unit includes the fairing mount and auto mount. The car mount has a little speaker in it.

I found it priced at $639.00 plus 1.99 for 3 day shipping at newegg.com and the advertise the rebate on the product page. I have purchased quite a bit from newegg and it has always been a great shopping experience with quick shipping. Ordered on the 24th received it on the 27th.

 

I am thinking about getting this for my Fatbob. There's been a couple of instances over the past two weeks where I could have used GPS. I found it at BeachCamera for $535 after rebate. Not too shabby.

 

What model # is the Harley Zumo?

 

They have the 550 and 660...
