Default 2" pull back bars on 07 FLHX

I am considering putting the HD 2" pull back bars on my 07 FLHX. I am wondering if I have to replace the throttle/Idle cables and clutch cables. Also if I do, are there any 2" pull backs where I would not have to replace these items.

Thanks

Check out the harley heritage style bars(56902-08 IIRC). Get the new ones for 08 and above. They'll bring you back a couple of inches and you shouldn't need any extended cables. They are made for 08+ TBW bikes but theyll work, just have a coupld of notches in the end of the bar.

I was told that the heritage bars are not wide enough to clear the fairing. So the 08 heritage bars will fit?

Give consideration to the Khromewerks sweepers. I have the +2's and they are perfect. Had the HD chrome high bars first, and these blow them out of the water for comfort. They're +2 up and +2 back. Great price too. I had them recommended to me by a fellow forum member; best decision I've made in a while.

These worked with all stock cables?

I went with a +4 clutch cable, but +2 or 3 would have worked. Everything else was plenty long enough. $80/bars $50/cable, result...........Priceless

Read the website, they tell you all the specifics.

I think that I will have to change my choice and look into the sweepers. Thansk for the input!

I also put on a set of +2 sweepers and love them. I used a +4 clutch cable. Now if only my broken heel would get better soon, I might be able to get a &^$%^ ride in! Not on 2 wheels since my first 2 rides in mid march!
