Fuel Moto FYI

Fuel Moto FYI
I checked my plugs on a stock 2010 Limited with converter and was surprised that they were black and a little chaukey after the first 1000 miles which was to the contrary of the lean condition I was expecting. I seemed to be getting about 39 miles a gallon.
I made the decision to get the Fuel Moto pkg. which includes the AC, PCV, and Dyno tune mufflers. After about 2 tanks of fuel, I checked my plugs and they were much cleaner than without the pkg. and new map. I checked the mileage and was surprised at the 41 mpg
I was getting considering the forum comments that I would get less mileage with PVC.
I am happy with the better performance and mileage with the Fuel Moto Package. I believe the PVC is Mapped better than the stock ECM.

Congrats!! I am one of the many that lost some MPG after installing the PCV but, I had also installed new cams so the first tank I was hittin the throttle hard alot! = 27MPG! Yesterday went to a bike event (a long freeway ride, 2 up, thru mountain passes, LA traffic, high speed of 96mph, avg. speed of 72mph (don't ya just love GPS's!) and got 36+MPG!! I have the "Auto Tune" and have yet to go in and accept the trims so it could possibly get better. Had to fill up about 50 mile from home yesterday and really took it easy (65-70mph) the rest of the way...gonna make a real effort to ride easy this tank to see how good it gets!

I average 32-34 in mixed riding, but I can't keep my hand out of the throttle. I averaged over 40 stock, but WOT wasn't as fun or compelling to use....
Anyway, one thing you have to keep in mind about the stock fueling is that it's overly lean in some spots, and FAR too rich in others (explained to me by my dyno guy). Really strange how they come up with the fueling strategy.
