1 suggestion though, using a flat bar stresses the front tank mounts by pushing them out, eventually the tank mount will crack. The lift bar needs to be stepped so the tank mount lines up just like it did to the original mount.
awhh I thought I was the first to do this lol owell i still one-up'd you on the coil relo.:icon_clap:

Yea, to be honest i was thinking about stepping them when i was cutting them out but was to lazy. Will check it out in the morning.. thanks for the advice!

Don't mean/intend to hijack this but one question......how difficult was it to lift/rotate the tank up? Was it just a matter of undoing the front bolts and rotating the front up?
yep also remember to take out the bolt in the back under the seat. Its just a tab in the back and doesn't pivot like a Sportster tank...

Love that AC! That baby is a perfect candidate for a set of those TP rocker boxes. Would really look sharp with that tank hiked up showing off the motor.
Nice!

I build them at 1 3/4" for the baggers. Any more and bars start getting real close.

A Customer did his own at 2" and pulled his bagger apes back a little to far and dented both sides of the tank!
