Electraglide Ultra 1994.Fairing inner?

Electraglide Ultra 1994.Fairing inner?
Hi can any one advise, can you fit a later Fairing inner(cap) to an earlier fairing outer? I have a 94 Ultra and would like to update it with a newer style Inner with the round clocks etc. I know I will have to chnage all the clocks( most of them) but is the shell the same shape and size??? Thanks.
