Auxillary Lights-Yellow?

I have replaced the stock lights with amber sealed beams.
The part number was the Wagner 4415A which can be had for $8.00 - $16.00 per at most auto and truck parts stores.
These are screw terminal type connections and you have to cut off the stock plugs in the housing and replace with ring or spade terminal connectors.
If you cut the stock plug off correctly , you can put (just barely) the stock plug back on if you need to later.
These beams are a "flood" pattern and have a very wide angle beam as opposed to the narrow stock beams.
I feel the daytime visibility of oncoming traffic is improved with these lights.
Make sure to aim any beam you get carefully to get the most out of it.
I'm pretty happy with this mod so far.

I use the Wagner 4415A also. I've seen them on Amazon and at the local parts store. I'm with the rest in believing that daytime visibility is a bit better with the yellow. I've actually had people pull over to the side of the road when I've come up behind them. Maybe thinking I'm a LEO or something.... Oh well, I don't mind that part of it.
Night time visibility is pretty good too, although the white lights seemed to give better visibility as a rider at night. I don't ride a lot at night, so it's not that big of a deal to me.
