Question Auxillary Lights-Yellow?

How many of you have changed out your accessory lamps to yellow?
The few times I've seen it, I was impressed with the visability factor. The yellow really stands out. For those of you that have done it, any suggestions on what sealed beam to use

Default yellow auxillary lights

I changed mine because they seem to be more visable in the daytime,

I have replaced the stock lights with amber sealed beams.
The part number was the Wagner 4415A which can be had for $8.00 - $16.00 per at most auto and truck parts stores.
These are screw terminal type connections and you have to cut off the stock plugs in the housing and replace with ring or spade terminal connectors.
If you cut the stock plug off correctly , you can put (just barely) the stock plug back on if you need to later.
These beams are a "flood" pattern and have a very wide angle beam as opposed to the narrow stock beams.
I feel the daytime visibility of oncoming traffic is improved with these lights.
Make sure to aim any beam you get carefully to get the most out of it.
I'm pretty happy with this mod so far.

Thanks for the part #'s. I've been wanting to do this on mine also. I changed out the DRL's on my truck for better visibility right after I got it.

I use the Wagner 4415A also. I've seen them on Amazon and at the local parts store. I'm with the rest in believing that daytime visibility is a bit better with the yellow. I've actually had people pull over to the side of the road when I've come up behind them. Maybe thinking I'm a LEO or something.... Oh well, I don't mind that part of it.

Night time visibility is pretty good too, although the white lights seemed to give better visibility as a rider at night. I don't ride a lot at night, so it's not that big of a deal to me.

Same as the others, I changed mine to the Wagners. I drive mostly during the day, and they definitely make the bike stand out.

Doesn't anyone make a plug and play smooth yellow light. Some of the ones I've seen that were, have that ribbed affect on the glass.

I have a buddy with an ultra that got rid of his front turn signals, changed his driving lamps to amber, and with a kit from Biketronics (I think) uses them for his turn signals as well as passing lamps...they look and perform well.

Get the Krylon stanied glass window paint and paint them. It works great.
