AAFES overseas purchase program question

So from what I am hearing about 2,000 to 2500 below MSRP, color choice can be limited. But not a bad experience. I have too long to wait to be in a position to use the AAFES program but all your info will help me work with my local dealers. If they cant make me happy the a 2011 or even2012 Street glide is in my future. Did all the bikes get catalyst exhaust this year?

Too lazy to read all the posts, but I bought my RKC through AAFES in Kyrgyzstan on my way to Afghanistan. The process was very smooth, and I am very happy with the bike. The sales agents cover huge areas, so they are sometimes hard to reach, but the whole process was very simple. $500 down, and then cash at the dealer. Or you can finance if need be, but that's what deployment money is for.

Ok, I got a quote from AAFES. Took a little fib but I got the info I needed. I now have a written quote to show the dealerships. This whole question was started by what a salesman told me. He said that a touring model doesnt have the same discount as say a softail and sportster. He said I would almost pay stock MSRP. The quote I got back was just under 2,000 under HD MSRP. Obviously he was just trying to get a sale before I could get deployed and order one and he gets nothing. Kinda irritates me since I have been talking to him for months now and he knows my position and still tries to force me to make a 2,000 dollar mistake. I am going to show him this ask if he wants to make a sale or not. Thanks again for all of your inputs. Hopefully I can line the stars up and get this before I go overseas and that way I got deployment money for mods!
