The brukus kit uses a tamper proof allen,it comes with the kit.they are having a sale on them with free shipping,well worth it..

Where are you geting the free shipping from? I've tried 3 times now....keeps adding $6.00???

Old thread, new info... inexpensive source on eBay from Bagger Saddlebag Theft Deterrent System (STDs - clever name). Cheaper than other alternatives posted on forum, but can still probably go cheaper at the construction box stores.

I ordered a package deal from Brukus that included their saddle bag kit and I have been happy with it. When I need to wash the bags it takes about a minute per side to unscrew the bolt.

The ebay package appears to use just allen head and not torx security bolt.

i have one that keeps coming un done and i have many yrs working with these fasterners on sports bikes so i know how they work

i will buy a new one as stated above or i might buy the kit to secure them more permanant and thanks for the great advice on security as you can never be too carefull
