Progressive Suspension parts inbound...Heres hoping for the best
I just couldn't take the ride quality of the stock suspension any more. Took advantage of Progressives promo deal and bought a pair of 940's with the free progressive fork springs.
Anybody out there running this combo on a Street Glide? Just curious as to where to start with the preload adjustment. I weigh around 250, and when we ride two up and loaded down for touring we are probably packing 450 on the bike.
Appreciate any advice you all might have, thanks.

Not much help here but I put 440's and front springs in last month. Rides pretty well; hit a deep manhole cover yesterday and I think I bottomed out - made a hell of a sound but I couldn't tell if it was front or back (too busy saying WTF). Both spring sets are 1" lowering. Haven't ridden 2-up yet or loaded but the ride does seem better than the stockers.

Full load 2-up on SG with 940's I run about 3/4 to one turn from lightest setting. I weigh 200, wife 115. Solo I ride about 1/4 turn from the top. If it is just 2-up with no other load I leave it set at my solo settings. Have not bottomed out yet like this.

I have 412s on mine and we run them at the highest setting... We also load up on a trip and I went to the 11 1/2 shocks and have only bottomed out one time... It was a extremely bad hole we hit !!! The highest setting is pretty stiff but it still rides better than the stock shocks....
