just went to install my left grip - grip glue tube is all dried up - anyone ever use silicone instead or anything else?? don't want or need anything stronger than grip glue - may want to take it off some day - but do NOT want it coming off on a hot day or by just pulling on left grip - would be bad in a emergency move on the street.. hour drive round trip to dealer and back for grip glue

I bought a small tube of silicon in Custer last year when my grip glue dried up and the grip was spinning and have had no problem with it at all. Dont try super glue as it only works for a short time, and then you get a neat superglue tube when it dries.
