Default Acc switch on 02 E-Glide

I just spent the last couple hours searching threads and posts for this answer, but haven't found anything definitive.

Can somone say for sure whether or not the acc switch on the dash panel is prewired to a hidden plug?

I'm using the usual acc plug from under the seat, by the battery, to run the LED spoiler lights on the tour pak and saddlebag lids. This plug is not controlled by the acc switch. Is it just a dead switch? Or is there another plug hidden somewhere on the 2002 Glides?

Yes I know all you guys with the "newer" bikes have that famous plug and switch setup. But I need to know specifically for the 02 vintage bikes. I think they changed the setup around '04, but I'm not sure.

The ACC connector under the seat that you are using for the spoiler LED's uses only three of the four wires in the connector. The fourth wire is for the switched circuit controlled by the ACC switch on the switch cap. The ACC connector has ground, run, and brake light circuits that are not controlled by the ACC switch.

OHHHHHH!!!!!! Now that makes sense. I'll have to check it out tomorrow night.
So, if I added another splitter/y-connector to the one I'm already using to run the LED spoilers, and plug in the accessory to the open plug of the second splitter, the acc switch should work for the new accessory?

Saying it another way.....
Splitter 1 plugged into bike's acc plug.
Plug A on Splitter 1 gets Splitter 2 plugged into it.
Tour Pak and Lid Spoilers plugged into the 2 plugs on Splitter 2
Plug B on Splitter 1 is now open for new accessory that can be turned on/off with acc switch!?

Did I get that right?

Yes, you can do as you described. On my bike, I didn't use the tour pak spoiler LED Deutsch connector; instead, I simply spliced the spoiler LED wires to the wiring harness in the tour pak that the side marker lights and rear run/brake lights use. Since my tour pak is detachable, wiring it this way made for one less electrical connection to disconnect/connect when removing/installing the tour pak, and since the lid is drilled for the spoiler, I wasn't concerned about being able to remove the spoiler LED from the tour pak in the future.

You can also add a wire for the switched circuit to one of your existing connectors (and a ground if necessary) rather than add another Y-splitter.

Can someone take a picture of the ACC "plug" under the seat? I would like to use it to control my LED's.
