I'm thinking about adding a detachable solo tour pack as an option for my 2010 FLHX. Am I correct in understanding that I have to convert to a solo seat to make that work or is there detachable hardward that works with the stock seat? Thanks!
This is my buddies SE Road Glide with a solo tour pak. He has a solo Corbin. I think it looks great but that is just my biased Road Glide rider opinion. What do you think?
Solo seat as far as I can tell, but you do know that it makes the back of your bike look like a bull dogs a$$ right?
LOL! Yes sir I do know what you mean. That's why I want detachable hardware! I'd only use it for long hauls otherwise I want to keep the sleek look of my SG.

It looks damn good and what I'm after for long hauls. I want detachable hardware as I'd have if off more often than not as a daily driver. I was hoping that I could retain the stock or simular seat for those times when a hot chick wants to take a spin around the block LOL! Who the hell am I kidding, my wife (who rides her own) won't go for that!

There is a member here that has a pewter denim SG. He installed a chopped TP with his stock seat. It fit, but it left a mark on the seat near the passenger because it was sitting on the seat.
Yes, Corbin Classic Solo (w/Touring Pillion if you have a passenger) and quick release. Before and after pics and mine and my wife's bikes side by side (with and without the tour pack) Mine is just for the long hauls, also. See the pics.....
Here's the same bike and king tour pack with the Touring Pillion and passenger backrest set up for when you have a passenger on those long hauls............
