Mustang 76207 seat uncomfortable
I just purchased a 76207 mustang seat and it is the most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat on. I bought it from a guy on craiglist and it looks to be brand new. I had a mustang one piece on a metric bike I had and loved it. This is very disapointing. Has anyone else had this problem. The last one I had didn't need a breakin period.
Thanks much All,
Ken

There are advantages to doing business directly with the manufacturer. By the way, have a similar seat w/rider backrest and love it.

It's been about 11K miles since I added the Mustang seat to mine, and it gets better with time. Or maybe my *** gets tougher, I don't know. But I actually love the way it feels now, and have done 500+ mile days on it, and the wife was right behind me on her Mustang passenger seat. It also still looks brand new.

Not happy with my mustang
I had a mustang seat on my Honda ACE that I could ride all day long. I got a Mustang for my Road Glide. The seat just does not fit me and can only make short rides befor I have to get off!! Why can they make a seat so good for a Honda and not for a Harley, the rider did not change?

I have over 1K invested in this "All Mustang" set-up. The seat took some getting used to. I've done over 18K on it and now I rarely even think about my ***. Same with the sweeper bars. They fit me just like the seat.
I can say that the backrest really helps. I will also admit that I occasionally still use a wool skin on those really long days.
My advice is to give it some more time before you give up.
