twin cam motors are junk

Actually, had you joined HDF at around say 14,000 miles on the odo you would have known what possible upgrades to consider. That makes it YOUR failure, not the union workers!
Seriously tho, these engines were built to be rebuilt as often as you like. I can tear my bike down on the side of the road, with just a handful of common tools. If some one at the factory screwed up, I am only too glad to correct any issues. Unless you REALLY abuse them, they will last long enough for yer grand kids to ride.
If you want something that never breaks, maybe you should become more mechanically inclined, and build one in your garage. That's how Harley and Davidson did it...

why fix it ? you really don't like it. sell it as is . honda is having a really great car sell right now.
the union and harley employees have nothing to do with your misfortune.
look at nasa they spent millions on space shuttle with ton's of research it still blew up.
get over it and get on with it.

I just can't get excited over this...sometimes engines fail due to lack of maintenance, sometimes they just fail - defective part, Friday engine assembly, whatever the reason, mechanical things fail from time to time. Yeah, it sucks when it is yours that failed, but it happens. Deal with it.
