Got an 06 electra glide classic i picked up friday night after tradin in the sporty. Rode all weekend and no probs. Rode to the office (1.5hrs) got half way dead stop traffic and the bike goes from 800-900rpms down 400-500rpms, and dies. Did it 2 times and a 3rd time when i got in the parkin lot. Harley plus an indy shop said its a heat management system. Anyone ever heard of this? Or that at about 40k miles on the cams from the SE stage II kit have to be replaced? Thanks guys.

 

Sounds like heat management system to me. Being an 06 though I would also make sure the injectors have been changed as the 06 had the whole 8 degree/25 degree injector issue.
