So do I understand you right that they are only attached with the one hole that you drilled into them? And you get no movement? No weird vibration at higher speeds? That's impressive!

Buick makes a product that eliminates wind turbulence entirely ... just be sure to keep the windows rolled up tight ....

I have these JES Customs now for three years on my 07 Street Glide with Passing lights and lowers, they work great and are very well built. The chrome on mine is high quality. Not flimsy like some others I have seen, worth the money in my opinion.

They're very stable; I can grab them and not move them. I think the silicone probably helped somewhat. I've had them on for over a year with no problems.

Update:

Found a fairly easy solution. The wind deflectors have two mounting holes. All I did was drill a new lower mounting hole right next the existing lower mounting hole. What this did was cause the deflector to be slightly tilted back from the turn signal. So instead of the curved portion of the deflector sitting just below the turn signal, it sits just behind the turn signal.

Since the deflectors mount directly to the fork, the windshield mounting hardware covers the mounting plate so you can't even see it has two holes in the lower portion.

Problem solved!
