Yeah. I got mine on and am very impressed. I don't have many miles with them, but they seem very promising.

Since you had brought it up yesterday, I went and checked and sure enough he only had 2 sets left so I popped for 1 of them. I wonder if they restrict the flow of air on the motor though? They look like they might....I had thought about the Hogg Chopps and will probably get them eventually. However painted they are right @$400. I thought that this would be a cheaper alternative for the time being for the 09 SG than the chopps.

I wouldn't worry too much about the engine cooling. The HD version doesn't carry the same "use only in temps lower than XX" warning that items like the soft lowers do.

I would love to get a set but will they work if you have added the passing lamp setup?

Does anyone have a set on a SG that has the Passing/Driving lamps? What if any modifications did you have to do?

Looks like "hoz88" above has the driving driving lamps. Assume you mean the SG CVO style and not the Ultra style?

I just ordered a set for my 08 and am looking forward to trying them out. With any luck they will be here by this weekend for me to try out.

I will let everyone know what my thoughts are after I get a few test miles on them.

They made a huge difference on my old RK and kept air from streaming up from under the tank. It reduced turbulence and noise about 90% on that bike.

OTOH I wonder if having lowers and fairing wind deflectors is sufficient. Even though I wouldn't be without them on a bike without these two items, I'm not sure they would help much in combo with them. I have this combo and don't feel a need for more wind protection.

I gotta have a set of these! If they work as the posts here describe, I'm going to be ecstatic!
