Default Pingel Rear Lowering Kit

I was thinking of trying the Pingel brand lowering kit for the rear of my 2010 street glide and was wondering if anyone has tried them and what they think of the difference in ride performance. This kit claims to only lower the bike 1" while most brackets lower 2". I am hoping by only going 1" that it will not make a comfortable ride get too uncomfortable. My main reason for doing this is for better footing. I really like the stock seat and would rather not have to change it to get lower to the ground.

Before anyone replies with comments regarding rr shock relocating brackets, I know that this is the cheap way out and it WILL affect my ride to a certain extent. But I would rather spend $100 than $1100 on up on a Air Ride setup. If i"m unhappy, I blew only $100 as opposed to much bigger dollars. Worth a shot!

Thanks for all input!!
