Default Keeping rear fender looking good

If I ever get back to work I will get my bike repainted. Already have the paint, tank badge and misc materials just can't justify right now. In any case there are times I would like to run the bike without the pillion and wondering what others do to keep the pillion from making marks on the fender.

You can buy thick neoprene with adhesive backing. I cut some into a few strips and attached them to the bottom of my Mustang passenger pillion.
