I spoke to a local indy the other day about some stuff and mentioned my plans for a 21 front 18 rear. He commented on a possible heat generating problem with the brakes due to the larger front wheel. My bike is a '10 SG with ABS, floating rotors, and Brembos. That's some good stuff.
Any issue here???? I think not, but those who got em, any brake issues?
cuzkee, I purchased a set of wheels from hogpro, went with 21's and the 17 with the 200 tire on the rear and Phil from hog pro told me to buy these pads from lyndl, he said the brembos were creating more heat than the old style pads and have caused a few rotors to warp, the lyndl pads create less heat and throw less dust, so this is what I went with.
Good info. Will consider those pads if I have a problem. Nice wheels too!
Thats just it, if you have a problem then you waited to late, I gave to much for my wheels to take a chance on warping the rotors, so thats why I got new pads.
