Aileron grips let me down
Well I'm back from my trip to Thunder beach. The trip was OK overall but the weather was not so good, especially riding home through Nashville with all the rain! Anyways, while I was at the beach my aileron grip on throttle side ripped loose from itself. It then proceeded to slide around in a circle for the rest of my stay. It tried to ease its way off my handlebars all wekend. I finally decided to glue it on with some liquid nails to get me home. Pretty disappointed in the quality. Today I replaced them with Iso grips and changed to boss blades while I was at it. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone considering changing to them.

I'm on my second set. Very comfortable, I really like 'em. First set racked up around 45k miles. I replaced them cause they were starting to look bad. The second set - disappointed, looked worn out in one season. Not sure what to do now. Will probably leave them on, or go back to my first pair. I'm picky about the grips matching the pegs, so I don't want to change everything. I thought leftover sunscreen lotion on my hands was causing premature wear. I dunno . . . I've never had a problem with a separation of any kind though.
