In my opinion and again this is my opinion I would stay away from Flanders. I had ordered a bars for my 09 street glide from them last year. They did not have a set at the time for throttle by wire and he said it's easy to do with a hacksaw. I was like OK and ordered them from my local Harley dealer. Once I got the bars the dealer wouldn't cut them and after looking at the instructions I decided against it. I sent them back and ordered a set of wild 1 bars.
All I can say is what a difference. The bars are 1.25" instead of 1", and the chrome is much better. They also came setup for throttle by wire.

If you call wild 1 they will be able to tell you how much longer to go on the cables. I purchased the Harley Diamondback cables and they are really nice. I only purchased a new clutch cable and front brake cable. The wires for the controls were long enough.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Khromewerks sweepers 300515's. I love them. Fairing mirrors might have some issues.

I have the wild 1 575 and have them tilted back a little bit. You may also want to look at the 577 as you can pull them back as there is clearance between the tank. I kind of wish I would have tried the 577's and pulled them back.
I agree with you on the bars being higher than the fairing. I am not a big fan either.
I also like the wider bars over stock. The inside wiring is also nice.
I am no longer using the fairing mirrors either since I changed to a painted inner fairing and I did see my hand in the mirror a little with the fairing mirrors.

Here is a link of some pictures of my bike. They are not good pics because of the sun.

Default I just put the Heritage bars on my 09RK

and they're at least 2"higher and 2"pullback and I didn't need any longer cables or wires. They might try to tell you that you need a longer clutch cable but it's not true. Neither do you need an extension for the TBW. When I rode out of the driveway with these new bars, I thought I was on the wrong bike.

The 575s aren't cheap, but they're well-made and look sharp. The stock control wires will work, you'll need a +2 on the clutch and the brake line. Internal wiring looks good, and the riding position is far more comfortable than stock.

Rthomp;
You are right. I now remember that the Clutch cable and Brake cable were both +2 with the 575's and the control wiring was long enough.
I used the Harley Diamond Back cables and they look great.
