Well you guys rock, and to think that I was going to go purchase a code reader for $150.00

OK, here is what I got:

P1357

when I cleared the code this scrolled on the display

PN 32915-07

Not sure what that was but my code is now gone and the light is not showing a historic code.

now the question is what in the hell is P1357

My manual says to check spark plug cable resitance, and plugs must be correct HD type for this model. You should be able to swap front and rear cables and plugs. Code P1358 would be the code for rear cylinder. If the code switches to the rear cylinder, you have a plug or cable issue.

Codes P1357, P1358, P1353, and P1356 are caused by a missfire or lack of continuity in the ignition coil secondary circuit.

Default Overcharging

My 10 SG also reads 15 volts so I checked the charging and found 14.3 to 14.5.I'm thinking some gauges are out of calibration.

I know this is an old post and might have already been mentioned but mine done the same thing and they told me to get plugs that the top does not screw off. Fixed the same history codeon my 03
