I have a Tom Tom GPS unit that is want to mount on my 2009 Street Glide for a week long ride I'm going on. I have read a lot of posts about different mounts, and was probably going to go with the RAM mount until I ran across one on ebay for only $11.99. I don't plan on keeping the GPS on the bike all the time, so I thought for this low of a price, why not give it a try. Here's the link to the mount. Has anyone tried this one? It looks like it doesn't do much in terms of adjusting the angle or height, but for twelve bucks and free shipping it may be alright for occassional use. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
DUCT TAPE!! here in Florida we call this tape chrome!!
Just kidding.
My .02 worth. Dont go cheap on the mount, you will regret it. Get a RAM< mount. They are not that expensive and work very very well!!
I just checked out the RAM... so basically the handlebar mount stays the same and you just buy different adapters to hold various pieces of equipment ?
