some people say if they had it to do over, they would just do the cam and maybe have the heads ported and polished
I donno...I did just the cams first & then the 95" a few weeks after that. The cams were ok, but honestly seemed lacking. Maybe I was expecting too much. Anyhow, I didn't have headwork done till I did the 95", so I'm sure that factored into it to a degree. But I can't understand pulling the heads & not doing a big bore, as the extra power is at hand for a fairly small investment at that point.

I'm very glad to say that the bigger displacement & Big Boyz heads seemed to really wake the cams up & so far I'm very happy w/the results of the whole set-up. Waiting on a set of FC's & a dyno-tune to complete it.

Vic I will be real interested in seeing what your dyno numbers are after tuning it, and adding the FatCat. thats my next move is a D&D fatcat, top quality.

I think if I do anything to my exhaust at all, it will be the 2" baffles. That will create more backpressure and help the low-end torque situation.

I just need 2 mufflers out the back, and I'm not doing the falsee route. I had a Thunderheader 2-1, and I love the sound/performance..........but couldn't get used to the looks.

Several guys around here have the Rhinehart TDs; terrific looking & sound great. I've always wanted to try a 2 into 1 & now seems like the time. I'm not sure if I can get used to the single exhaust look on my bagger either, so I ordered the falsie w/mine...[8D]

I have heard and seen a few Fatcats around here, and it just doesn't "do it" for me.

I've had Wild Pigs, I've had Wild Pigs with true duals, I've had 2-1 Thunderheader, I've had S&S SPO, and now I've got what I consider to be the best........Rineharts.

They "do it" for me..........looks, sound, quality, and performance.

But that's just me, everyone's eyes and ears are unique.

Well the parts are adding up.

I bought the top-end gasket kit a couple of weeks ago at 20% off sale.
Today I bought the 95" SE flattops at 15% off sale.
In a week or so when I get the cash together, I'll be ordering the Andrews 26G cam kit.

Then it's just a matter of doing the work, and getting the heads&cylinders done by Big Boyz.

Can't wait.
