Default 6.5 Kloc work windshield

I have a street glide with the stock 4 in windshield, I bought a 9 in smoke because I got tired of eating bugs. (Darn Buffalo Knats) Prob. is at night I have trouble seeing the first 20 feet in fromt of me. I was thinking about putting a 6.5 in Kloc on, does anyone have one on theirs, have pics, and how do you like it????

I have one, looks great, didnt stop the buffeting for me so I took it off and used another taller recurve that was given to me.

I had one. I noticed more wind noise by my ears with the 6.5 inch klockwerks than with the HD 6.5 inch regular style shield.

The klockwerks did not help at all for helmet buffeting. What helped helmet buffeting was the deflectors that go at the bottom of the fairing.

But the Klockwerks looks the coolest.

I have one and love it... I prefer it over the 9.5 recurve I had.. You get wind in your face, but its not enough to move your sun glasses..

Wouldn't get rid of my 6.5 KW for anything else I have tried yet. Really cool when you see the bug coming and the boom it gets directed over your head.

I'm 5'5" and have a 6-1/2" Dark Smoke Klock Werks Flare on my bike and LOVE it! I get hit with bugs every now and then with it but for the most part the shield does a great job at throwing them over my helmet. Although this might be right in the face of a taller rider.

Any dealer who sells KW Flares should have several demos in stock for you to test out so I would do some calling around in your area and go that route, this way you guarantee you are getting what will work best for you.

BTW...the picture is actually a 6-1/2" tint demo...as mentioned, I ended up going with the dark smoke.

Best of luck...
Lindsey :0)
