5k on my '10. I haven't had any issues. All of my accs bolted right on. You must have paid extra for dealer prep

A few quirks on my 08, nothing I noticed until I started customizing and then, nothing I couldnt easily adjust.
All in all, very pleased.

07 Ultra w/10k. I've never had an issue of any kind. It's just like I drove it home from the dealer. (Except for the Rineharts and Fuelpak.)

Dealers make all of the differerence, mine is a gold medallion dealer which only 25 dealers nationwide get awarded each year. Last problem I had was in 2006 when I drove my Road King away from the dealer and half-way home the shifter peg decided to fall off the bike. I have not heard any complaints like this in our Hog Group meetings or rides, and my 2010 SG is running sweet (knock on wood). Are you sure you aren't shopping at a Powersports Dealer?

If everyone you talk to about your "new" bikes have fitment and quality problems you should "all" go to the dealer and get the issues addressed under warranty. Harley Davidson has a TWO YEAR FULL WARRANTY !!!!! If you are having issues on a new bike the dealer is REQUIRED to address those issues. I have an '08 Ultra and the only problem I had upon delivery was the Passing Lamps were aimed by a blind leprechaun and the dealer took it in and aimed them properly at no charge. Give the dealership a chance to make it right... then bitch if they don't.

i have a 2008 FLTR, I had a minor issue but nothing major. sounds like your dealer does not prep the bike properly before he hands the keys to his customers, same with car dealers
