Advice: Air/Download worth the upgrade?
HD: 2009 FLHR
Situation: V&H slip on pipes installed; bike sounds good.
Questions:
* If the air cleaner is upgraded to SE and the download is done, will the bike be louder?
*perform better?
*If so, is the difference worth the upgrade? How much does it costs?

The bike will perform better and it may be slightly louder.
The Download varies from dealer to dealer but is usually around $150
The SE air cleaner is $139 but can be had a bit cheaper at some of the online HD shops.
Your bike will still be EPA compliant which means it will run lean and hot.
A better way to go is with fuel management sytem such as a PowerCommander or SEST or TTS mastertune and there are a few other worth considering .
