I'd vote for having it gone over. You never know how the previous owner might have been on upkeep.

I have an 05 with over 35k and just recently had the tensioners removed and went gear drive. The outer tensioner looked fine with minimal wear the inner one was about 75% warn according to my indy. As far as the wheel bearings being changed, I wouldn't worry about that or the clutch cable just make sure your indy lubes the cable. I average 7k + miles a season and my 05 has been a solid machine with no problems. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

If it was me I would replace the cam chain tensioners and cam bearings, fuel filter, have the valve seals changed( they can do this without removing heads)go over nuts and bolts that you can reach, the obvious fluid changes, make sure tire pressures are good and valve cores are tight and metal valve caps.I also have a 05 and these are the things I have done. Can say all but the valve seals were just a precaution. This is expecting that all other regular maintence has been done properly.
