This is much better than the Permatex stuff....check with the dealer or the body shop....they do good work. a little more expensive but worth it.

What say you, scarpetta?

Thanx, RD
You can find all kinds of button kits through the aftermarket suppliers that can be done without removing the seat. I think the last kit I got was from J&P cycles, but many others have them.

I have used the Permetex repair kit with much sucess.Follow the directions.I would practice on something else first to give you an idea of how to do it before you do your seat.

Factory seats are usually put together with different panels. A reputable upholstery shop will be able to replace only the panel that is torn. You could even have the foam modified for a more comfortable ride while it's off being repaired. I hav local friend with a custom upholstery shop that does that fairly often.

Thanx man, I will look into it. It is a fine seat, but anything that isn't kept up quickly goes down.

Good deal. RD
