Default Sundowner Seat Questions

I have an 06 Eglide classic and am in the market for a new touring seat for longer rides. The stock seat pushes me too far forward and I get a lot of tail burn on long rides and its time for a change. Several people have recommended the HD sundowner. Has anyone made the swap from the stock seat to a sundowner on an eglide classic? If so, does it sit you back farther or lower or is it the same seating position. Thanks.

I run the Sundowner on my Ultra. I like the seat. It does give you more back support and does appear to sit you lower and back.

I got one too on my '06 EGC. It was one on the first and best mods I did. It's very comfortable for the rider and passenger.

I honestly did not have a problem with the stock seat on my street glide, girlfriend could not last more than 1 hr before the dreaded butt burn started
bought a sundowner last week, 100% improvement I sit a little lower and a bit further forward .

I will have mine tomorrow. Taking a road trip to Florida, so come Saturday night-ish ill post to tell you what i think. When I opened the box, it looked great! It has the street glide stitching and looks like it will lower me a bit and give me a great amount of lower back support. Still dont think i will put it on unless i am going over 150 miles. Doesn't look like it keeps the "sporty" look of the SG. I'll let ya know.

I certainly noticed my Sundowner moved me down but not sure it changed my position forward or back but both me and the wife are happy with it!

I put the Sundowner on my SG over the winter, it took about 100 trips out to the garage to keep looking at it before I got used to how much bigger it looks than stock. Now that have about 1000 miles in the saddle of it I couldn't be happier with the comfort of it and the old lady loves it. I am used to how it looks now too.

I had one on my 07 Classic, and it's for sale, 200.00 shipped.
If it would fit my 2010 I would not sell it, I really liked it. Sat me down a little and the nose seamed narrower which help me flat foot the bike....
Good shape, no tears or marks...
