Motocamping Trip to Texas Hill Country
#21
Rode 336 last weekend. Most of the cattle guards are barely noticeable and all of them are clearly marked. I was surprised at how smooth they were.
If you visit the motorcycle museum and want to eat. Order as soon as you get there because they take forever. You can see all the bikes twice before they serve your burger. Decent burgers too.
There's a restaurant in Leakey where 337 hits 83 called "Sisters" that serves excellent food. It's all prepared fresh on site - no frozen prefab crap. Worth waiting for if you're finishing up 336 on the way to 337 or vice versa.

I'm leaving in the morning (Friday) to go to the Hill Country Run in Luckenbach, Tx. I'll be staying in Fredericksburg, Tx. If you've never made it to the HCR, it's a great rally. Not very commercialized like some of the other ones. The poker run is really good too; you go on some really neat roads and the last time I went, it went on some private ranches with some great scenery.
Anyone else on here going?
