No More Helmet Buffeting

I've read a ton of posts about windshield. When I'm in a "proper" upright riding position, I can clearly see over the stock windshield on my Limited. When I have my feet up on the highway pegs, and I'm a little slouched down and leaning back, it's right in my line of vision.
I wear a Shoei RF-1000 FF, and either way I'm sitting, I don't get the buffeting that a lot of people complain about. I average about 1000 miles a week, mostly highway miles. The only time buffetting seems a little bad is when I'm around a bunch of semi's (which seems like all the time).

Same here. When I bought my bike, the previous owner gave me 1 extra fairing windshield which was the tall HD one (15" I think) . I mounted it, just to test and it was a cold and misty/foggy day. After 2 miles, I took it off and sold it. I couldn't see sh*t through it.
