I have an 05 eg classic 1st stage hd 203 cams, "TMax auto tune, v@h true duels, SuperTrapp exhaust. I have been pissed because before the TMax and the pipes got 40-42 here in Utah. I now get 34-35. It is fast and quick!!!! Does anyone have such a rig, and is mine just a gas hog because of the up grades. Runs real well.

I also have an 05 EGC. Andrews 27 gear drive cams, screaming eagle AC and slip ons, PC3. It really seems to depend on fuel quality, but I maintain an average of 43-44 mpg. I have got as low as 34 but that was bad gas, once I ran that tank thru it returned to normal.

I currently have a 2008 Ultra with V&H ovals, SE A/C and the new SEPST (orange one) and I get between 44 and 47 running the non ethanol Shell 92 octane gas. This is running between 60 and 70 mph on secondary roads mostly here in Central Oregon. Very little superslab!!

However, going in next week for a 103" upgrade with 10.5:1 pistons, SE tapered/adjustable pushrods and the SE 259E cams. I am expecting my fuel mileage to suffer somewhat. Am looking for a little more torque for my 2 up riding and hopefully being able to use 6th gear a little sooner in the rpm range.

43-46 on the interstate below 74mph.. 46-50 on the back roads but the trick is to keep the rpm's between 2400-2700 for the best fuel economy.. If I run the tank down to empty (fuel miles remaining says "LOW") I get about 235-255 miles per tank with a 5.2 gallon refuel.. It works for me

Default Fuel Mileage

A couple of things to consider:

How much enthenol is in the gas you are using..

And how much total weight of the bike + rider + passenger ( if any )

My .02 cents

How far did you have to push it to find that out?

I filled the tank till it wouldn't take another drop and ran it while watching my "miles remaining" on the odometer, and just rode.. When the miles remaining gets below 10, it just says "LO". It also starts flashing at around 5 miles left. Found that out from a straight through ride from Ft. Lauderdale.

I was getting about 36mpg on my 06 RK classic, after the stage 1 upgrade, recently had some work don and installed the HD race tuner and my milage jumped to 45-48mpg. Best I could fugure is the download never took or was done improperly.
