Exactly. Everyone that saw the release of the model colors last year assumed the Road Glide was gone. Nope.

I'm surprised that HD would make the Merlot and Rootbeer standard colors. That sure wouldn't make me happy if I put out the extra $$ for one of the limited production runs of those two colors only to find that there'll be whole bunch of them on the road in 2011.

There is a Super Glide Custom now. That is probably why they got rid of the Super Glide. For the price difference it does not make sense to buy the Super Glide.

Awww hell!!! I was bummed when they got rid of the Softy Custom before. Was glad they brought it back in 07. Was hoping to get one as a second scoot in a few years. Guess I'll be shopping for a used one.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. For what little bit of price difference there is, you get quite a few options on the Super Glide Custom. Personally, I think the Super Glide Custom is the overall best buy HD has.

All here pretty much sounds like possible reliable info. Just one thing that doesn't ring true to me.
Dumping the super glide. That is such a huge item just because of price point for entry level big twin. Just a bit more than a nice sporty. Would surprise me if they dumped that unless as said previous there gonna come back with it and a diff name a-la RG-2010
