Default Nav Not Installed

I have an 08 Ultra with a HK radio. I am getting a statement on the radio screen, Nav not installed - see dealer. I can't get rid of this warning. What needs to be done?

Push the NAV hard button on the face of the radio again. Should go away

Did HD stop selling their Navigation for the HK radio? I can't find it in the 2010 catalog, only the Zumo's

Let's hope so. I had the nav system through the HK radio on my 08. Hated it. It gave lousy long-way-around directions, and gave me the "off road" message every time I went too far from the super slab. Oh, and it's solution to everything was "make a u-turn".

That's ridiculous. And it cost $1000 bucks too!

so we all have this useless NAV button on the radio now.

Yep. Hey, maybe we can rig something cool to the "nav" button...like a beer dispenser.

Default Nav not installed

Thanks everyone. I did try to push the Nav button but that did not work. I tried the comm button as well. I turned the power off and still when I turned it back on the same message. It is sitting off for a few hours now so maybe it will reset itself. Last week I had a no sound event. when I turned the bike back on everything was OK. I hope the radio is not crapping out.

I see a visit to the dealer in your future.

Zumo 550 is awsome...friggen expensive but the thing rules.

It's rugged, sharp looking, loaded with alot of stuff, MP3, and responds really well. Not like the piece of crap tom tom I use in my car.....what a POS that is...

Might be time to take it to the dealer. Hope it's still under warranty
