Installed a V&H Pro Pipe HO on a 2010 roadglide
Greetings gents! Thought I would share my findings and results. I found a pro pipe ho on eBay, ended up winning it for 268.00! It was used but the seller assured me that it was in great shape (a little fading of the black on the headers going into the collector) anyways this is the 09 model with the larger bung holes for the o2 sensors, I called V & H and they told me the pipe would fit but I would have to buy a reducer kit from drag specialties, basically it comes with 2 bungs that you screw into the existing bungs and wola! You now have the 12 mm bung holes, also came with a foot of wire to extend the wires to the front o-2 sensors. I have a Fuel pack that I picked up awhile back, also had the stage one download and the SE Nightstick slip-on. Picked up a new set of exhaust gaskets and a tube of high temp silicone as well, I removed the stock exhaust and mounted the HO pipes to the heads (loosely!) then proceeded to use some high temp silicone in the collector area. Installed the can, the went to work on the o2 sensors, wasn't to hard and actually got the wires routed nicely and out of the way, I had to call V&H and get the settings for the fuel pack (heavybreather and stage one download) got them plugged in and then proceeded to fire up the bike....... Can I get a amen?!!!! Oooooooooohhhhhh yeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh! The bike sounds absolutely awesome! I cannot believe the sound coming out of my bike! After riding that bike with that slip on since august of last year, it now sounds like I got a set of reinhart duals on the bike! ( much tighter sound though!) I am so pleased with this set up! I have to say the fuel pack settings where right on! No pops, awesome throttle response and it seems like I gained about 10 or so horseys from my last set up, when you twist the throttle the bike just pulls and pulls. I highly recommend this set up!!! Now I just need to get Tw-6 cams and I think I'll be done till winter with the engine mods! I'll try and post a few pictures.

I gotta say even without the heat shields it's not to bad, the front pipe actually sits just below the right side foot rest, so no burning of the boots, of course i've yet to get stuck in town for an hour or two in rush hour traffic ( that may tell a different story) but parade mode should help keep em cooler. Went for a ride tonight bike is nice and responsive lots of mid and top end, there's still power down below 3000 but not break neck

I wouldn't be suprised if the pipes decide to leak putting silly cone on them, not one to ever harp but if they ever leak here is the solution. Install the head pipes with new gaskets and tighten snug, then start the motor and get the cylinders hot and shut off. When the bike is cools tighten again just till snug and again start the bike till hot. May take a couple of days but you'll have years of no problems with leaking pipes.

Yeah didn't use no silicone on the headers but where the exhaust can plugs into the headers at the "collector area". I did use new exhaust gaskets when I put the headers on, I will do what you suggested though and tighten them the next time I ride and the motor heats up. Thanks for the tip!

Well made the mistake of stopping by a power coaters today, got to b.s'ing and 3 hours latter I dropped my pro pipe off to get ceramic coated! Going to go withthe black satin! Upon removing the exhaust I decided to take off the end cap and baffel, glad I did.... Baffel material was blown out in a half a dozen places, going to have the Coater coat the inside as well as the outside also going to have him sand blast the baffle screen as well, should have the pipe back Monday I'll post pictures when I get it back and re-installed.
