I just got my Ultra 8" LRS. From the pic on their Web site mine sure looks
like the Classic version. Any body have side pics of theirs on a batwing so
I can compare? Don't want to complain if I'm not looking at it right.

8" LRS Classic purchased last year.

 

I just received my Ultra Flip up and at first I thought they sent me the Classic as well. Fortunately I own a classic in the same height and held them up against each other.

Next to each other the difference in the curve is very obvious and made me feel dumb thinking they looked the same.

Obviously I dont know what you have but just wanted to share I was confused at first also.

Love my Ultra Flip Up. Its my favorite and I own a Classic and X Stream.

That looks like the Ultra to me.

You can e mail that picture to Matt @ LRS and he could probablly say for sure. He is a cool guy and has helped me with all my orders.

Yep looks like you have the Ultra.

 

Thanks for the help. Once mounted the curves are
more noticeable. The top of the shield is even with
the bottom of my nose. When I get a chance I'll
post a review.

Can you explain the difference. I have the 8"X and Classic and thought I was all set. I like the X for the stability but I think I loose some sound fr. the radio. I have'nt put the Classic back on yet to see if I can tell the difference.
