Default What's the difference between Power Duals and Dresser Duals

I am evaluating head pipes for my 2010 Ultra to eliminate the cat. When considering V/H, I see they offer Dresser Duals and Power Duals for the 2010 touring models. In reading the website and looking at the pictures, it seems the Power Duals have the X crossover and the Dresser Duals don't. Other than the cost difference of about $80 bucks, can anyone tell me the advantages of one over the other? I am also considering the FuelMoto solution.

You have it right. The 2:1:2 systems supposedly have better cylinder scavenging. True duals usually give up a bit of torque in the low end. Can you tell by the seat of the pants.... dunno but you can see them on the dyno runs.

The tone is totally different. True duals sound more like a softail, IMHO, with separate exhaust beats.

2-1-2 blends the sound together.

True duals are louder than 2*1*2 with the same mufflers
