Default Do not use dry-glide lube on 09 clutch cable

Thought I would pop this out as a new thread so it wasn't burried in oinker's thread on Magnum Shielding cables. I got the same results using Dry-Slide on my stock 09 cable. The cable will stick terribly. Makes controlling the clutch really difficult especially at slow speeds. I think I saved the cable by flushing it out with a light-weight synthetic lube. Still a little sticky but getting better. Looks like it will take a few miles to work the dry-lube out completely.

The 07 and later clutch cables are teflon coated and dont need lube!

Doc, my 09 shop manual still calls for lubing the clutch cable. HD specifies Lubit-8 Super Oil. The website claims the oil actually contains teflon. Guess you can't get much slicker than teflon on teflon.
