Nicely done!
LOL. Imagine my surprise when they went the other way last year!!!

All kinds of talk about an Ultra Road Glide and then they come out with a lowered street glide version instead. I was actually prepared to trade mine in if they did revive the Tour Glide. Now we'll have to wait until the end of July to find out.

More pics

those driving lights you said they were Kurys were they a pain to install ? and very expensive? I am like you ride with the wife a lot so I bought a tour pack on flea bay to make her more comfy (back issues) HARLEY JUST KEEPS MISSING THE BOAT by not making an ultra glide. Jim

The bike looks awesome! I'm in the process of doing the same to my RG and would like to know if you used the detachable tour pack hardware or did you permanently mount it?

That is a Kuryakyn chrome part over the instruments. Bought is last year at Sturgis. Also came with accents near the switches.

The lights were a bit of a pain to install. I've had my fairing off numerous times so it wasn't too bad for me. I would still rate it a 3 on a scale of 5 with 5 a PITA. So this was just a mile PITA. Well worth it for safety IMO. I didn't buy the lights for night riding. I bought them to make me more visible during the day.

It's detachable although I rarely ride without it anymore. The lights and speakers have a plug in on the right side so I can take it off in just a few seconds. I do have a lock on it for that very reason.

Nice work man... enjoy the miles on that mighty fine looking Mustang seat. How much did that set you back... 600?

Thanks for reply, steve I bought some cheap driving lights at Wally world for the same reason . I mounted them at floor boards, give that 3 points of light . But I do like how yours are mounted high. Thanks again. Jim
But they do the job well, and are easyily replaced if damaged .
