Default Indian Motorcycles

I know, I know, this is a HD forum, but has anyone looked at that new Indians? Man are they PROUD of those!!! I mean really, $26000 all the way up to $35500 for the BASE models. And most of them come stock with only a solo seat. I hadn't paid any attention to them until a buddy told me today that he was looking at maybe getting one. All I can say is WOW!!! That's SE Ultra price for a base bike with basically nothing on it. With prices like that they surely don't plan on selling many.

Overall, great looking bikes! Something about the overall look that is just stunning IMHO. That red tank with gold lettering along with the style of the motor and fenders is really sharp. Had a 125 Indian when I was growing up, my first on/off road bike. Would like to get another one some day!!!

They are good looking bikes. I did a little more research and they aren't planning on selling many because the aren't making many. From what I read all models will be limited production. It didn't really say how many, just ..."The new Indian Chief motorcycles are produced in limited numbers, with the focus on outstanding quality, performance, and exclusivity."

A London based company, Stellican Limited, accquired the rights in 2006. This is the same company which bought and resurrected Chris Craft boats.
