Just think some lucky people have seen to 2011's as they were photographed most likely back in May, to be put in all the parts and accessories catalogs.

The story about the 103 is not so surprising to me. First the police models, then the trikes....why wouldn't they put them in the regular line up now? They've got to do something to entice people to keep buying.

What I'm most curious about though......why not the same 103 that was in the 04/05 and 06 CVOs? I mean why not the same heads, the same HP and TQ in stock configuration to begin with?
Well, for all the nay sayers............it's a fact. The 103" will be avaialable in a number of the touring models. And why wouldn't it be.....it's a proven work horse and the MoCo has to do something to bump sales in 2011.

The CARB (Calif. Air Resources Board) is the most reliable place to find out the new year's models and it clearly shows 103" on a number of models.

gentlemen, start your 2011 engines. let the games begin. every friggin year it seems like by some g'damm miracle someone professes to know some privvy information. go figure. for me, i've seen it through many of the years and it's the same old crap. so now i just ride on and wait till the big meeting in august. it's just easier that way.

103 for 2011... very possible, Ultra Limited could have been a true test the waters model. What about a 110 for 2013. Hmmmmm kind of sets the stage!

Harley enthusiasts thinking of a trade to a newer model, wondering if they should buy a 2010 and were considering a 103 kit, might wait for a 103 2011 for example.

For the rest of the whining, ***** nah sayers in this thread above who shot the messenger...EAT CROW

Just wondered how many of those 19K have ridden a 103. I have several times and even did some roll on testing with a ULtd vs a bone stock 010 RG. The RG beat it in every gear. Granted the RG is lighter but if the 103 were really stronger it would make up the difference. MHO: The 103 with stock cams and heads has a severe case of emphysema and for what you will have to pay to get it ucncorked you could add the kit new or later and have the bike of your choice with better performance. Funniest thing the most bang for the buck with the 010 and later models might just be the elimination of the CAT!

Agreed. But if I was going to pay the "Harley Tax" in any case, I'd rather do it on top of a 103".

My thinking exactly, intelligent minds think alike I guess,

When the fancy new 07's came out with the six speed and 96 C.I. I considered hard buying one,

After hearing about the sick speed tranny's, i decided to get a good used 04 and spend the money on hopping up the 88 C.I.

My 95 beats any stock 96 and for a lot less $$$$ spent,

Added benefit of a silent gearbox

Exclamation 2011 models

The 2011 Touring bikes (not sure if it's just Ultra's) will have an optional 103 motor. The Limited will still be around with a 103. The New CVO's will be coming out with the 120 motor instead of the 110. The new hot bike on the market for 2011 will be the FLTRU (Road Glide Ultra). ABS will be available on more models. New colors for 2011 look so-so Light Candy Root Beer and Dark Candy Root Beer is an awesome looking two tone color. The Cool Blue for a solid color is not so hot.
