Another vote for the RG.

Came off three Sportsters, a Dyna Low Rider, then a 2002 EG Standard. The 08 RG is the best of all. I don't listen to the radio much, I enjoy the sound of the ride so I can't help you there. I did order the 3" taller HD windshield and then trimmed it to fit my height. Works much better than the original stock one.

I love my 07 RG but the wind is a problem. Stay away from the H-D shields . I have tried them&nbsp\\;and they SUCK. **** poor or no air flow&nbsp\\;engineering. Check out Kolock Works a Clear shield.

Can't compare as I have never owned or ridden a R/K...
but my choice is the '08 R/G.......may be ugly to some, but
they're a beauty to the rest of us.
I tried a 4" black shield....looked bitchin' but was useless.
Bought a 10"dark smoke off Ebay and love its look and function...
much less wind than was on my Valk........if I want no wind I'll
drive my truck with windows up and a/c turned on.

RG it great for two up.
I added EG seat and heritage handel bars to mine with a tour pack.
Seat and tour pack were for wife.
And can switch them back in minutes if I do not want them.
tried a 5 1/2 inch blach shield looked great BAD idea gave it away to a bike that never gets riden is for show only RG need a real shield faring sit different than a SG.
And Rg are not ugly just different. They handel great and the lights work really well
