I THINK IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH IT.&nbsp\\; I THOUGHT ABOUT THE SAME 2 BIKES, BUT I USUALLY RIDE 20 TO 50 MILES AT A CLIP, IF I RODE 200 MILES FOR MY USUAL RIDE, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A ROAD OR STREET GLIDE.&nbsp\\; I LOVE ALL 3 OF THEM, BUT..................ITS GOOD TO BE THE KING

Road Glide all the way! 15K on my 07 and not one problem with the radio, just keeps cranking out the tunes. Side winds do not effect the steering and, most important, it is the best looking Harley ever!!!!

As stated, different wind shields are plentiful, the radio&nbsp\\;is warrantied and&nbsp\\;can be easily replaced with high quality/possibly better&nbsp\\;alternates if needed.&nbsp\\; I've got a RKC, on short runs 200mi&gt\\; and in town it's a little lighter through local traffic etc.&nbsp\\; On longer 300mi&lt\\; runs my friends RG with the frame mounted fairing is easier on the arms, particularly at 60mph&lt\\; when you're fighting high winds.&nbsp\\; Otherwise they are both excellent choices.

The 08's are back to being black engines. I would go with the RG "all the way" Chris Berman style!!!!!

I have owned both.&nbsp\\; I had a very nice RK that&nbsp\\;i liked very much w a smaller smoked shield.&nbsp\\; Traded it in and got an 08 RG. Love the glide.&nbsp\\; Handles amazingly well, has the tunes and is a more versatile ride (solo seat, 2 up, detachable tour pak etc). I also love the look.&nbsp\\;

i've owned both, too. traded my 03 RK for an 08 RG.&nbsp\\; i couldn't be happier. no radio problems and a clearview solved the wind issue. i really enjoy the fact that after riding in strong wind all day i am not exhausted.

I LOVE my '08 RG.&nbsp\\; No problems at all with the radio.&nbsp\\; I put on a Clearview large windshield and it works great.
