Default K&N/Arlen Ness Air Filter

Ok so check me out on this one, I chaged the slip-ons to V&H and did the SE AC with the HD Stage 1 flash and the results where ok in terms of performance change nothing to get real crazy over but you could feel it which was ok because I was really looking for the look of the turn downs and the V&H sound. Now here is where it gets interesting, the RKC is scheduled for it's 10K (went in today and will ick up tomorrow) so before they had at it I wanted to replace the SE air filter with a K&N which I did yesterday (it is stamped with Arlen's name but no biggie). After I bolted it in and back together I took a ride and now I tell you that thing had to give 2-3 HP that cant be felt I could not believe it and this morning when I rode to the dealer I gave it few run ups and it is definately a noticable differance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For what its worth anybody that has the SE AC that use the over-priced stock filter throw it away and get a K&N or Arlen Ness.

I'm done now......................

I like the new SE air filter over K&N. No oil needed when install, and reusable.

I don't think the new SE air fliter is reusable at all, I believe it is paper and it definately cost more that the K&N............

K&N part # is HD-0800. This replaces the blue filter when a stage 1 or higher is done.
