Default life of stock tires

Just wondering about the life of stock tires on 2009 ultra. I have 10000 miles and the rear tire looks like it needs replaced. The front was replaced by the dealer last week due to the saftey sheet that was sent out by the Motor Company but they didnt say anything about the rear tire needing replaced. Just wondering thanks.

And on a side question whats a good replacement tire when I do replace, Dunlop like I have or something else?

I just changed out the rear tire (Dunlop 402) on my Ultra at 11,100 miles. Expect that I will be changing the front tire at around 16,000 miles.

Swapped @ 16.5K had a little left, there are wear bars in the center if you look close

13k on my rear, just changed it with another D402. My front has plenty of life left.
There have been a lot of tire threads on here recently. Everyone has their favorites and I haven't seen many complaints (other than the issue you just had taken care of).

I get 6500 out of the front and rear D407s. i have had 2 sets now and they both lasted the same amount.

It all depends on how you ride.
