I reused mine with out a problem. Actually I have had my pipes off twice. But, I only have 1000 miles on them.

change them, it's cheap insurance so you wont have to remove the pipes again if the old ones leak and less chance to strip or snap a bolt. do the job once

I would change them. I have re-used them before with no problems, but I also had a leak one time. As much as I hate putting them in, I buy new ones now. As noted, they are inexpensive.

Being that getting exhausts on and off is such a PITA I would replace the gaskets. Use the stock gaskets, not the SE kind. Stock gaskets are less prone to leaking IMO.

+1 get new gaskets... they are cheap and your local dealer should have them on hand.

I'd change them for the insurance of not having to do it again. For even more insurance tighten the exhaust nuts snug and run the bike at idle till hot then shut off, let cool and snug up again. Repeat the process for couple of days to ensure a proper seal and no exhaust leaks. Takes a good 3 to 4 times of heating up the cylinders.

+1 on the stock gaskets! A little WD40 & a light touch helps get them in without kinking.
